Doing well by doing good

iRemedy is mindful of and committed to giving back as an organization through deployment of our expertise, products, partnerships and financial resources to help build thriving, prosperous communities that improve people’s lives and support our business.

To multiply our positive impact on people, communities and the planet

Parallel to our goals to excel operationally and financially, in an ethical and responsible manner, is our ambition to make a unique contribution in our own way to solving the societal challenges that confront all of us.

As our growth accelerates and our standing in the global health and medical community continues to elevate, we believe that social responsibility is one of our boldest new frontiers.

It is our intent to identify impactful ways to do well by doing good. As iRemedy grows, we will look to leverage our talent and resources to multiply our positive impact on people, communities and the planet. Here is just one example of how we are working to achieve this objective.

To multiply our positive impact on people
According to HealthAffairs.org

Project Restart

According to HealthAffairs.org, even as they continue to serve over one in five uninsured people, community health centers also have emerged as a health care backbone for state Medicaid programs.

Nationally, nearly one in five Medicaid patients obtains care at a community health center; in 10 states and the District of Columbia, this figure stands at one in four. Given the ongoing surges of COVID-19 cases, community health centers are struggling to survive.

In 2020, iRemedy created Project Restart to help address the severe shortage of medical supplies in demand by local, underfunded community health centers and clinics.

In collaboration with several of our supply partners, we have supplied certain medical products, free-of-charge, to virtually hundreds of frontline healthcare workers in underserved, underprivileged U.S. communities and neighborhoods in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
